Combining my many years in the corporate world as a trainer with having worked for over 15 years in the floristry industry, I’m so looking forward to helping you improve your flower photography!
I realised at an early stage of starting my blog Flowerona in 2010 that beautiful imagery was very important. So, with my newly bought new basic digital SLR camera and kit lens, I’ve taken many photography courses, the first one being at a local college where I was taught by a former police surveillance photographer! And now after flowers, photography is my second passion.
Join me on this Flower Photography online course and learn how to take gorgeous images using your iPhone in natural light. Plus get to know your fellow students in the private Facebook Group. It’s going to be such a wonderful experience!
Learn how to capture flowers beautifully in natural light. You’ll discover all about the different types of light, the varying effects of its direction and how the time of day affects light.
Gain an understanding of composition, learn about useful composition techniques and the importance of framing effectively.
Let your flowers take centre stage and avoid distracting, cluttered images by carefully selecting on-brand surfaces and backgrounds.
You can start whenever you wish. It’s a self-paced online course which you can work through at your own pace.
You have lifetime access to the content. So you can go back and re-read the lessons, plus re-watch the video presentations, whenever you wish.
You can pay online either by debit card, credit card or PayPal.
The course is suitable for all levels of photography experience.
I would love to create a similar course for Android users but unfortunately I’m currently only familiar with iPhones.
Having said that a lot of the content is general to all flower photography. For example the sections on Setting Your Intention, Gathering Inspiration, Your Photography Style, Understanding Light,Surfaces & Backgrounds, Styling Props, Shot Format, Shot Type and Composition.
You’re more than welcome to take the course. However just bear in mind that some of the terminology may differ. For example Portrait Mode I understand on an Android device is known as Live Focus.
In this course, I cover similar photography principles as my Instagram for Florists online course, but I go into a lot more detail.
As mentioned in the Terms & Conditions, your enrolment fee gives you lifetime access for one user only.
No, I won’t be directly available. I’ve made the decision to make this particular course self-paced rather than drip-fed like Instagram for Florists. This gives you complete flexibility as to when you work through the lessons.
As this is a digital course and all the content will be available to you as soon as you gain access, there are no refunds available.
